UPAVIM, which stands for United for a Better Life, is an artisan cooperative that has been transforming lives since its establishment in 1989. With around 80 members, the cooperative focuses on providing social and economic empowerment to women who are often the sole breadwinners for their families. The artisans are mothers, homemakers, and widows, many of whom have faced significant challenges in their lives.
