Carnelian highlights the sacral chakra focusing on blockages and traumas, aiding one in recovering vital information about oneself and one's purpose on Earth. It also helps with being more vocal in terms of needs and wants and finding pleasure in life.
The carnelian stone is deeply religious as the Egyptian goddess Isis would protect dead people during their trip. This is how Egyptians engraved some parts of the Book of the Dead on carnelian amulets.
