This is a larger-sized 5 pointed star lantern with a white background and delicate screenprinted design in green and pink. Light shines through white tissue paper inserts to create a soft white glow - clear enough for reading and close work - and its larger size makes it perfect for large spaces, shop window displays and rooms with higher ceilings. Screen printed by hand, traditional over-layering techniques create an intricately ornate lantern, perfect for wedding decor, keepsakes and wedding favours. For an elegant seasonal touch, hang one in a window for the Holiday Season and twin with one of our smaller designs for a truly spectacular festive display.

Our Starlights arrive flatpacked – simply fold open each point consecutively and tie over a lightbulb or LED. See your flatpacked star transformed into a beautiful 3-dimensional source of light. 

This larger sized star measures 87 cm from point to point when opened and comes with full instructions. Recommended for use with LED bulbs up to 7 watts, or low energy lightbulbs up to 16 watts - bulbs and fittings are not included with your star. They look fantastic with LED “fairy“ or “string” lights – just make sure they conform to the appropriate standards and that the bulb doesn’t touch any part of the star. The actual bulb wattage shouldn’t exceed 40 watts. Can be used indoors and in sheltered outdoor spaces. All stars conform to British Standards.
