This larger sized 5-tipped paper starlight combines delicacy of design with a boldly contrasting colour scheme. An Antique White screen printed detail stands out against a black background, and its light is softened by white tissue paper inserts. This larger sized hand-made star lacks none of the delicacies of our smaller designs and illuminates a room softly without dimming it.

Screen printed by hand, traditional over-layering techniques create an intricately ornate design which complements any colour scheme and is a striking contrast to a neutral theme. The classic Lace motif is the perfect choice for a wedding celebration - and the larger-sized design looks fantastic arranged in a display alongside our smaller designs. Our Starlights arrive flatpacked – simply fold open each point consecutively and tie over a lightbulb or LED. See your flatpacked star transformed into a beautiful 3-dimensional source of light. 

This larger sized star measures 87 cm from point to point when opened and comes with full instructions. Recommended for use with LED bulbs up to 7 watts, or low energy lightbulbs up to 16 watts - bulbs and fittings are not included with your star. They look fantastic with LED “fairy“ or “string” lights – just make sure they conform to the appropriate standards and that the bulb doesn’t touch any part of the star. The actual bulb wattage shouldn’t exceed 40 watts. Can be used indoors and in sheltered outdoor spaces. All stars conform to British Standards.
