Handmade fairly traded paper star lantern. Flatpacked. Simply open and tie over a lightbulb or LED light. Perfect for home décor, parties and celebrations.

This is a larger hand-made 5-tipped starlight in ivory white. Light shines through delicate white tissue paper inserts to create a soft clear glow, and an intricate screen printed design creates the final flourish of Lace. Its neutral tones make it perfect as a main lampshade in any room and its softly diffused light is clear enough for reading or close work.

Its delicate design and subtle Lace motif make it perfect for wedding décor. And with its larger size, it looks fantastic displayed in a group with some of our smaller designs. Use as a spectacular centrepiece or festive decoration for a larger space - hang one in the window for the Holiday season!

Our Starlights arrive flatpacked – simply fold open each point consecutively and tie over a lightbulb or LED. See your flatpacked star transformed into a beautiful 3-dimensional source of light. 

This larger sized star measures 87 cm from point to point when opened and comes with full instructions. Recommended for use with LED bulbs up to 7 watts, or low energy lightbulbs up to 16 watts - bulbs and fittings are not included with your star. They look fantastic with LED “fairy“ or “string” lights – just make sure they conform to the appropriate standards and that the bulb doesn’t touch any part of the star. The actual bulb wattage shouldn’t exceed 40 watts. Can be used indoors and in sheltered outdoor spaces. All stars conform to British Standards.
