Dropship Smoking Gun Tea Gunpowder

This is a smoking gunpowder variety of green tea.  It has a roasted smokey aroma and has come to us fresh from a reputable Chinese tea garden.  One of the lovely features of the gunpowder style tea is that after it is plucked from the tea bush it is spread out on mats and rolled with by hand into these tight tiny pellets before it is dried. When you steep the little tea pellets they emit a gorgeous green tea aroma and they spread out long and lovely to about 6 times their original size! The difference between a black, white and green tea is the way in which they are processed.  This green tea has not been fermented before the drying process.  Unlike a black tea which is fermented before it is dried. Caffeine- Yes, some. It grows out of the ground that way. Non GMO Fair Trade Compliant Sustainably Sourced Gluten Free  PREPARATION:  Use up to 1/2 teaspoon per 6 oz hot to boiling water. Place it into an infuser or disposable filter and allow to steep for 3 to 5 minutes depending on strength desired.
