The first hole of the Tri-Hole Fibre Stripper is designed to strip the 1.6 - 3mm fibre jacket down to the 600 - 900µm buffer coating. This initial step is crucial for preparing the fibre for further processing. The second hole then strips the 600 - 900µm buffer coating down to the 250µm coating, ensuring that the fibre is ready for the final stripping process. Finally, the third hole is used to strip the 250µm cable down to the glass fibre, completing the process without nicks or scratches.
