This sterile, individually wrapped Bio Plas Bacti Cell Spreader is 30mm wide for prepared bi-plates. Made from blue-colored polypropylene, the sturdy plastic provides a uniform design that makes it easy to evenly distribute bacterial cells rapidly over an entire nutrient surface.

Easy to manipulate without slipage around curves and into corners of prepared plates. Avoids waste of 'disposables', thus becoming an environmental benefit. It is designed to greatly simplify and speed up bacterial culture work. The Bacti Cell Spreader produces an even smear for any permanent slide staining (such as PVA preserved fecal specimen for protozoan parasites).

It always prevents agar surface tears. It can be used for microbiological research of all types, especially for distribution of dilutions such as colony counts. It is autoclavable and non-breakable.
