Specifications

Each mask in the Blooms collection measures 4.75″ in height, with a nose width of 8/14″ and a chin width of 7 1/8″. This regular size fits most adults and tweens comfortably. For younger children aged 7 and up, you can easily modify the fit by adding a ribbon or string through the loops.

Care Instructions

To maintain the quality and hygiene of your masks, follow these care instructions:

1. Wash the mask in warm or hot water before using it for the first time.
2. It is recommended to wash the mask after every use to ensure cleanliness.
3. The fabric has been pre-washed to maintain its shape and size, but since it is 100% cotton, it may shrink if dried in a dryer. For best results, tumble dry on low or line dry.

Filter Options

The pocket opening allows you to insert various types of filters for added protection. Options include additional fabric layers like felt, flannel, or cotton, as well as PM2.5 filters, disposable HEPA filters, coffee filters, and vacuum filters. Remember to change the filters between each use for optimal effectiveness.

Important Notes

These masks were developed in partnership with physician consultant Dr. Jordan Lee Tate, MD, MPH, to serve as a protective cover for N95 masks. As a 2-ply pocketed fabric mask, it functions as a physical barrier and, when paired with a filtered insert, offers enhanced protection. However, it is important to note that this mask is not a substitute for N95 or surgical masks and is NOT FDA approved.
